This is for people who are issued administrative citations in the city of Desert Hot Springs California. This city has decided to pray on its poor citizens. It now issues what are called administrative citations. You can be given a citation for Christmas lights, a low front tire on your car, owning firewood, a weed in your front yard, or a cracked window on your home.

Code enforcement officers drive around the small city of Desert Hot Springs California Monday through Thursday issuing fines for innocent things people have done for millennia. 7. ALWAYS appeal every citation to a hearing officer!!!

8. Force the city to deal with your schedule!

9. NEVER use a zoom hearing. NEVER NEVER NEVER.

10. DEMAND the hearing officer announce his name on the recording, announce the date, announce every person in the room, and CERTIFY the recording. Give the hearing officer a letter of your demands in writing.

11. ALWAYS compile a brief with code, law, text, photos, maps, and present to the hearing officer AT THE HEARING.
